What is the check-in process?
We will contact you one day before your arrival and provide the full address, map and further details regarding accessing the keysafe for the property.
We will then contact you around midday on the day of your arrival to provide the code to the key safe which will allow you to access the key to the property.
What is a key safe?
A key safe is a small secure box located at the property, usually next to the door, with a code combination. Once you've put in the supplied code the box will open and you'll be able to use the key inside to get into the property.
We also advise that you use the key safe to store the key when you go out. This ensures you cannot lose the key and allows the flexibility for any one in the guest party to access the property when they return.
What do I do with the key at check-out?
When you leave the property please lock the front door and return the key to the key safe. Enter the code previously provided to open the box, place the key inside, shut the box lid and spin the numbers to lock the box.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
We offer a self-check in process which allows you the freedom to check-in any time between 3pm & 10pm. Check-ins later than 10pm are by prior arrangement only.
Check-out time is 11am on the day of departure.
Can I check-in earlier or check-out later?
We will do our best to meet your requirements but early check-in / late check-out is dependent on property availability, the bookings prior and post your stay and the planned schedule for the cleaning team.
Early check-in / late check-out must be agreed by prior arrangement.
How do I.... adjust the heating, work the TV, use the oven, etc?
We provide guests with a digital guide which explains how to operate all appliances within the property as well as giving other useful information about getting around and public transport etc. A link to the digital guest guide will be sent to you prior to, and post check-in.
What is a noise and occupancy monitor and why do you use them?
A noise and occupancy level monitor helps us to prevent parties, property damage and neighbour complaints. It helps us ensure we keep the property in the best condition for all our future guests while respecting our current guests' privacy. The monitor will send an automatic alert if it detects excessive, sustained noise and or over occupancy.
The sensors measure sound and occupancy levels without recording or listening and are not equipped with a camera, image or sound recording facility of any type. They don’t collect, store or share any personal data.
It also helps us make your stay a safe and comfortable one as we are also alerted to fire alarms, as well as room temperatures outside of comfortable limits.
What if I need to cancel my booking?
We have a flexible cancellation policy which allows cancellation with a full refund if the cancellation is made 48 hrs or more in advance of arrival date. See our terms and conditions for further information.
Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange a cancellation. You contact us by telephone on +(44) 115 775 0380, email info@caerusproperty.co.uk, or use the form on the contact us page.
